If you decide to work with us, you need to understand how your interests will be handled.  We are Realtors®, meaning we work through a local MLS.  We can advertise your property to allow all other agents and the public to know you are wanting to sell.  If you wish to keep it private, we will need you to sign forms stating your wishes to not advertise in the MLS database.  We have an obligation to allow other Realtors® the opportunity to sell your business, if you do not opt out of the MLS.  We then will advertise ourselves using general descriptions and marketing.

How do we market discretely?  We advertise a general profile of your company. Your location is described in general terms and so are the details of your company. Key financials are presented along with a description of your products and services.
The detailed information a buyer receives is delivered only after they sign a binding confidentiality agreement. Your company is not identified prior to the signing of the confidentiality form. We allow you the opportunity to review the form prior to the release of information.

Here are the rules to the MLS:

If the seller refuses to permit the listing to be disseminated by the MLS, the REALTOR may then take the listing (“office exclusive”) and such listing shall be made available upon request to the MLS administrators but not disseminated to the Participants.
